Deltamune invites all suitably qualified and experienced candidates to apply for the following vacancy:
- Millwright Apprenticeship
Position Purpose
As a Deltamune Apprentice you will be at the forefront of the Pharmaceutical industry, working on some of the most innovative equipment available, using the latest diagnostic technology, and tools.
Key Accountabilities:
- Reporting to the maintenance manager and providing support to the maintenance technician.
- Providing support for the preparation, servicing and reparation of equipment at the plant and building facility.
- Obtaining the necessary skills and knowledge through the Deltamune Apprenticeship programme to become a qualified Millwright.
Qualifications:
- Grade 12 (Matric certificate) with a minimum of N3(NQF4) certificate for Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- A person currently involved with a training module (1-9) would be an advantage
- Electrical/Mechanical Engineering N6 would be an advantage
Physical requirements:
- Individual must be energetic, healthy and able to work for long hours on their feet, wearing clean room clothing
- Individual must be able to lift ± 20kg of material frequently during manufacturing campaigns
Skills / Attributes / Competencies:
- Problem solving skills
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including flexibility and the ability to work well in a team environment.
- Be able to work flexible hours and overtime when needed.
- Alignment with Deltamune’s values and culture
Special working conditions:
- Must be comfortable with working at various heights
- Must be able to work in confined spaces and at different temperatures
